Hi Everyone! I hope you had a great long weekend! Mine was filled with family & friends...which is always the best way to spend my holidays :)I was able to run by the MAC store and pick up a few things from the Surf Baby! Collection...
So this is what I got:
- Mac eyeshadow Saffron
- Mac eyeshadow Sun Blonde
- Mac lipstick Hibiscus
- Mac Powerpoint eye pencil Gilded White
- Mac Cheek Powder My Paradise
Now that I have had a few days to play with the products, I can give you my opinions on them!
Recommendations: Pretty much everything I purchased, I actually enjoyed for a change. But the items I really liked were the cheek powder, the eye pencil and the lipstick. The cheek powder is the perfect orange/coral with a hint of gold colour for the summer, I have been receiving numerous compliments on how my face looks like it's glowing :) The eye pencil in Gilded White, is a nice alternative to lining your waterline. I have been using Stila's nude pencil and Mac chromographic pencil in NC15 regularily. But I like to use this for a change! And the lipstick is a perfect coral red colour for the summer. I usually like to stick to nude lippies, but I am venturing out this summer!!
What did y'all pick up? Do you like the quality of the products in this collection?
Great haul! I myself loved My Paradise, Hibiscus, and Sun Blonde. In addition to that, I also picked up Bust Out and Surf USA. And I know what you mean! Usually I pick up stuff and end up regretting 1-2 items but this time around I love everything I purchased.
